She’s the proud mother of an adorable baby boy, and Kourtney Kardashian is giving the world a first look at her son Mason Dash Disick.

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” babe and her fiancé/babydaddy Scott Disick posed for pictures with their little one for Life & Style magazine.

Kourtney gushed about how much she loves being a mom.  “I feel so lucky.  He’s such a good baby.” And she’s clearing up rumors about the boy’s middle name.

“Dash is not for my clothing store, as some people have suggested online.  That would be stupid.  Dash is short for Kardashian, and it was my father’s nickname.”

Brittany Murphy passed away this morning, according to a developing story on TMZ. There was a 911 call placed at around 8 A.M. from her husband, Simon Monjack's home. The cause of death was cardiac arrest. Brittany was 32 years old. This is such a sad story — we'll update with any further details. Our thoughts are with her loved ones; rest in peace, Brittany.

Brittany Murphy's mom discovered her unconscious in the shower. We're told when paramedics arrived, they quickly determined Murphy was in full cardiac arrest and immediately administered CPR. They continued CPR in route to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center -- several miles away -- and Murphy was unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

LAPD has launched a death investigation.

Stepping out for an exciting evening, Blake Lively was spotted at the New York City premiere of “Sherlock Holmes” last night (December 17).

The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” actress looked excited as she arrived at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center for the high-profile event.

And of course, Blake was dressed to the nines as she posed for the paparazzi on the red carpet, sporting a sexy black lace minidress teamed with a pair of gold heels.

Also in the house was Blake’s “Gossip Girl” costar/real-life boyfriend Penn Badgley.  Not a bad Thursday night date!

In what's sure to be one of the biggest perfume launches of 2010 — if not the entire decade — Beyoncé Knowles is set to launch her first scent in February. Expected to earn $100 million in its first year alone, Heat is the first in a series of scents to be released by the the superstar.

“I’ve been working on it for a while now," the singer told WWD. "I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I’ve never in my life gotten so many compliments. Coty has their own testing, but that was my testing! The fans loved it."

Although this isn't the first time Beyoncé has been involved with promoting fragrances (remember her Emporio Armani Diamonds campaign?), it's the first time she's done so for herself. "When I commit to something, I do it 100 percent, and I’ve never had [creative control over a fragrance] until this project," she told WWD. "I learned a lot of great things from the past — but I always asked myself, ‘If I could have my own scent, what would it be?’ I wasn’t worried about deadlines. It could have taken me three, four, however many years — this was my first fragrance, and I wanted to make sure that it was something I would love forever."

Working with perfumers Olivier Gillotin (who created scents such as Mariah Carey Forever) and Claude Dir (who's behind Bobbi Brown Beach, Marc Jacobs, Britney Spears Curious, and more), Beyonce came up with a blend of flowers, fruit, and spice. It begins with top notes of red vanilla orchid, magnolia, neroli and blush peach; moves on to a heart of honeysuckle nectar, almond macaroon, and crème de musk, and dries down with giant sequoia milkwood, tonka bean and amber.

When the scent goes on sale in February, it will feature eau de parfum ($39–$59) and a sparkling body lotion ($24). Until then, Beyoncé's team is promoting Heat with a teaser site that links to a Facebook apps and contest. Will you check out Heat, or does this news leave you cold?
