Performing at a very special concert last night (September 11), Rihanna strutted her stuff at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The beautiful singer was a part of the “Answer the Call” benefit concert in which all proceeds from the show support families who lost loved ones in the 9/11 tragedy.
Alongside Kanye West, the “Disturbia” songstress performed “Run This Town” for the first ever live performance of the song.
Just before the performance, Jay-Z spoke to the audience addressing the 9/11 tragedy, saying, “Now we stand here eight years later even stronger. This is our town. We run this town, New York City. New York City, we run this town.”

The launch of The Jay Leno Show is going to be a big one and we don’t mean Leno himself - who has dropped 12 lbs recently.
Guests including Rihanna, Jay-Z and Kanye West will all appear on the episode to kick off the brand new program.
The popular R&B singers will perform “Run This Town” from Jay-Z’s newest album, “The Blueprint 3.”
This will be one of Rihanna’s first huge performances since the public breakup and assault that happened back in February with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, whose sentencing has been rescheduled for August 27.
